Operation of Cylinders
Always check that the seal on the cylinder is intact.
Keep the cylinder in an upright position at all times.
Keep the cylinder in a well ventilated area so that in the event of a leakage the LPG can disperse and not accumulate in one place. Remember that LPG is heavier than air.
Make sure the regulator is safely fastened on to the cylinder before turning it on.
Maintenance of Cylinders
Always check for a leakage using a soap solution. Apply the solution to the areas around the valve. In case there is a leakage bubbles will begin to form.
In the event of a leakage, disconnect the cylinder, keep it in a well ventilated area and call your LPG Supplier Check the LPG hose regularly for any signs of wear and tear.
Do not roll or drag the cylinder on the floor. Instead, either pick it up from its handle or rotate along the floor to minimize damage to the cylinder.
